The Position:

Due to an internal promotion we are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Branch Manager for our Drogheda branch

Job Role:

The purpose of the role will be to maximise sales by establishing excellent relationships with existing and new customers to assist in the achievements of the Company sales and overall profit growth.

The successful applicant will work as part of a small team dealing with a variety of customers mainly trade with some retail, predominantly automotive but including engineering customers. The range of customer enquires is very wide and contact is both at the counter and over the phone.

The main duties and responsibilities for the role will be:

To maximise sales for the branch and achieve targets.
To assist the small team to provide a friendly and efficient customer service.
You will receive support and training as required to assist in developing the branch

Essential requirements:

Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable outlook.
Good computer skills.
Knowledge of car parts
Experience of developing customer relationships.
Good communication skills
Sales focused with a positive attitude
Ability to manage and motivate the team and achieve objectives
A good level of IT skills to fully utilise our electronic parts catalogues

Desirable requirements:

Previous experience of working in a motor factor
Or 2 years’ experience as a motor mechanic.
Previous experience working with MAM Autopart / Autocat software

Full Training will be provided

Location: Drogheda

Hours: You will work 40 hours each week, working between the hours of 08:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday. In addition, you will be required to work each alternate Saturday between 09:00 and 13:00.
